BACKGROUND  
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Act No.23 of 2007 established the NIMC with responsibilities for setting up a National Identity Management System Infrastructure which will improve how individuals assert or prove their identity, in a dependable manner, anywhere in the country and enable both public and private sector organizations to transform services, become more efficient and reduce crime that is enabled by identity fraud.
REGISTRATION
As part of strategies for harnessing worldwide examples of best practices, and to stimulate involvement of the public and private sectors in order to continually re-affirm the priorities for the implementation of an effective Nigerian Identity Management System infrastructure the NIMC has provided for the continuous registration of suitably qualified individuals, firms or consortia of firms to render consultancy services in various areas related to its main objective. The vision is to implant a dependable identity assurance system that meets current and future needs of all sectors of the Nigerian economy.
 
Accordingly, the attached form if filled out, will automatically enlist the firm/individual on the database of consultants for the NIMC which it (NIMC) may refer to for specific service procurement. Registration on this website does not create any legal relations whatsoever and the NIMC is not under any obligation to engage the services of any firm / individual registered here.
The database is an administrative tool that also enables the NIMC comply with the regulations stipulated in the Public Procurement Act 2007 and related regulations issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement.
SUBMISSION:
INDIVIDUALS: Interested individuals may apply here online. Individuals are not expected to submit any physical document. However, if and when contacted, individuals may be required to submit certified true copies of any certification claimed especially professional membership.

  a) Certified True Copy of For CO2;
  b) 3 year Audited Account of the firms;
  c) Tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 years;
  d) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission;
  e) Memorandum and Article of Association of the Company.
